After that, you will prepare yourself to join your expert tour guide to explore the wonderful city of Aswan. Our first visit of the day will be to the High Dam, which was constructed by the former president, Gamal Abdel Nasser to store the water, and then generate a large volume of the electricity. We will then ride in a motorboat to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman era as the cult center of the goddess Isis. Our last visit will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan.
After that, you will get back to the ship, so we can enjoy the lunch on board while sailing to the city of Luxor. Evening time is free at leisure on board so you can enjoy the sailing process to Luxor. Morning time is free at leisure or (optional) you can enjoy a Hot-air Balloon over the West Bank of Luxor. Finally you will be escorted to visit one of the marvelous sightseeing in Aswan, The Unfinished Obelisk, which was made out of red granite and was dedicated to god Amun Ra.
Afternoon, enjoy chariot riding to Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is considered to be one of the most well preserved temples in Egypt. After finishing your tour, you will be transferred back to your ship. Afternoon, you willmenjoy relaxing on board your ship. At night Egyptian Folkloric Show party will be operated by staff on board. Today we start sailing (in the early morning) towards the city of Edfu, near Aswan, in order to continue our wonderful Nile Cruise to Luxor.
After that, you will proceed to visit Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari. This temple is considered as one of the most wonderful examples of the Architecture in ancient Egypt, because it was totally carved inside the mountain. At the end of the tour you will visit Colossi of Memnon, which is belonging to king Amenhotep III. After that you will return to your ship to have your lunch.
We will then drive to shores of the River Nile and take a motor boat to reach the Agilika Island to visit Temple of Philae, constructed in the 3rd century BC in the Greco Roman period. Our last visit of this marvelous day tour in Aswan will be to the Unfinished Obelisk, which was found in the granite quarry in the Southern part of Aswan. After the tour, we will get back to our Nile Cruise boat for overnight.
